Status at School

I consider the spring semester the most difficult i have ever went through. Its not that im doing horrible or anything, but i find myself thinking that i might consider myself a failure. Today during my history class, i just got back my outline for my history paper that i was looking forward to write about, but my teacher does not aprreciate it. I don't know what she wants from me or what she is expecting from me as a student. Im doing so far ok with mey other classes, but for the first time i having problems with a history class. I don't what to give up on my major. My goal is to achieve my goals and to show everyone else that i am not a failure.

  1. Ray, you are not a failure! You are such an intelligent person, especially in history... I'm honestly shocked about this! I am feeling the same way about this class, and a lot of people are too. Do not worry, we will get through this, hopefully!

  2. Ray! Don't worry, this semester has been very difficult for me too! I think because we are getting more into our major, it is more difficult. Just try your hardest on the paper and you will do great! You will definitely achieve your goals and be a wonderful history teacher - you know more history than anyone I know!!

  3. I agree with you Ray. This semester has been the hardest one for me so far too. Don't stress out because this is only one assignment out of a whole semester worth of work! Stay positive!

  4. Do NOT give up that major. You enjoy it tooooooooooo much. Sit down and speak with your instructor and ask where your outline can be improved. Dr.Ries

  5. Don't give up on your dreams. Some teachers are hard and for whatever reason you might not ever understand what they are looking for. Those who are successful are the ones that when they fail get up and try again. Hang in there, the semesters almost over!
